Today was the first day for some of the students so we played a game called, "Where does it belong?" I gathered different items from different parts of the classroom and placed them in a basket. During rug time I handed each child a piece and had them find where the item belonged. Some children needed a little help and everyone pointed them in the right direction. It was awesome teamwork! This is one of my favorite first week of school games.
